About a month ago, I had my piano recital for my students out here in Tooele.  Although Courtney is no longer my student, I still had her come out to play for me as my "grand finale".  She is a FANTASTIC piano player!  

Then she and I played a beautiful duet of My Heavenly Father Loves Me.  It was beautiful.  

When Mack concentrates, he does this with his tongue.  He's pretty cute. 

Macy is a natural with a microphone.  A true performer. 

We went to the Orem Owlz baseball game a few weeks ago.  You just can't walk past a hill like this without rolling down it!  Oh and Happy 4th of July!

Mack had a cavity filled this week.  I know what you are thinking...what a horrible mom since her almost 4 year old already has a cavity!  Sorry.  He eats sugar.  I'm still working on learning how to be a mom.  But he did FANTASTIC!  He had the laughing gas.  He was pretty funny actually.  He kept talking to the dentist even when he had hands in his mouth so you couldn't understand him.  He was such a trooper!

 We went to the mall afterwards with my mom (who was so nice to come up and take macy off my hands while I was at the dentist with Mack).  Mack was all numb still, but he was still all smiles.  At least until later that night!

A few updates to the house.   First the small one.  This may not be significant to you.  BUT for those of you who don't know...I HATE folding laundry.  So it's not uncommon to find a pile of clean laundry in my laundry room unfolded.  To combat my problem, I've put these shelves up so I can fold each load as I take it out and put it into each cubby.  Since the cubbies are small, I have to put the laundry away too frequently.  So far, this system is working perfectly for me!

Now on to the better home improvement...Brad has been working very hard lately on the yard.  

He put our sprinkler system in with the help of his dad a couple of weeks ago, and this week he did this. Our flagstone pathway.  It's still a work in progress.  We have to clean up the tops of the stones to make it look a little neater and then seal and polish it.  It's going to look fantastic when it is completed!  In the next 2 weeks we are going to be building up a raised flower bed with stone in front of our porch!  Slowly but surely, we WILL get our yard in this summer!

Macy has had a hard time sleeping lately.  This pic was taken at about 1:00 AM after brad got home from work one night.  She woke up and they rocked together and watched TV until she fell back asleep. She has become quite the Daddy's girl lately!
