So my big guy turned 3 this weekend.  But since I just had a baby, he didn't get to have a party this year.  So we had Brad's family over for Sunday dinner and birthday cake.  This is the loot he got!

And he loved his cake that his Meema made him.  Can you tell he's a little obsessed with Toy Story?

Today is this guys birthday.  He's the big 3!!!  

Some important things to note about my guy:

• He starts preschool the beginning of September
• He's officially a big brother...and LOVING it!
• He's an expert at just about every game on the iphone.  He's always getting high scores and opening new levels that brad hasn't gotten to himself.  
• He still loves anything to do with sports...especially baseball
• He took swimming lessons this year for the first time and is now a fish.  He will stay in the pool at his grandma's house for hours if we let him

Cop Show Anonymous

Hi my name is Kylee.  I'm addicted to cop shows on television. It's bad.  Really bad.

Horatio.  Enough said.

Seen almost every episode of the 20 seasons. Pathetic.

I have seen every episode ever made of this version of L&O.  Double Pathetic.

Again...seen every single episode ever made.  One of my favorites. 

This one is a brand new summer series that just started.  It's a little bit dark, but oh so good.

Ok, this is more of a spy show than a cop show, but I group them in the same group.  They both fight the bad guys.  Michael Westen is my hero/crush.

Also a brand new summer series...and also a spy show.  But very good and has an intriguing back story to it.  Can't wait to find out more! 

Do you see what I mean?  I'm addicted.  I've also been told in just the past week that I also need to start watching Criminal Minds and Bones. Thank goodness for Tivo and Netflix!

Sheldon: I can't believe he fired me.

Leonard: Well, you did call him a "glorified high school science teacher whose last successful experiment was lighting his own farts."

Sheldon: In my defense, I prefaced that with, "with all due respect."

Another one of my favorite shows.  Can't wait for it to start again in the fall!  

Randoms

Cameron: I'm sort of like Costco. I'm big, I'm not fancy and I dare you to not like me.

I love this show.  One of my favorites.  I relate to this quote right now...I'm huge.  

Here are some random thoughts:

• I'm due in 2 1/2 weeks.  Doctors appointment this morning was a little discouraging.  I'm only dilated to a one, but he did say it's common for women who have already had kids to go from nothing to active labor in a matter of hours.  I think he was just trying to make me feel good.
• I'm loving my new leather sectional.  The first day it was in my house, I had to take TWO naps on it to make sure it was the right fit for me. It was. 
• Brad starts Fall league softball tomorrow.  I'm actually excited for this season of it because Tyson and Tyler are on the team this time.  Should be fun to watch!
• I'm loving my new calling teaching sunday school to the 14 and 15 year olds.  
• I'm just putting the finishing touches on Macy's nursery...should be done by my next dr's appointment next week!
• I'm very excited/motivated to get skinny again!!!!! 
• Mack has become a huge help in my last little bit of me being ginormously pregnant.  Example #1:Whenever I drop something, he picks it up for me and proudly says, "I'm a good bender mom!" (because I'm definitely not.) And example #2: He likes to offer me a hand to help pull me up whenever I'm trying to get up from sitting position.  Sweet intentions.
• I'm very sad that I didn't get to go to McCall, ID with the rest of the family this week for the family reunion, but I am relieved that I didn't have to make the drive.
• Lastly, I have to say that I'm still obsessed with Burn Notice.  Michael Westin is my TV love.  Just saying.
