Welcome New Baby!

For my parents, their 6th grandchild was born the day after Christmas! Wade Cohen Wilding was born around 3:30PM weighing in at 7 lbs 2 oz and measuring 20 inches! Here are a few pics I took at the hospital. Congrats Erica and Sam! You're officially parents!

This was the first time Brad has held any of his nephews or niece as a baby, even though he's been around for 3 of their births...

Christmas Highlights...

Christmas morning at moms house...

Yes, I'm smiling because I got my new vacuum! Brad definitely did surprise me...(I know that I do not look like the queen that I normally do, it's Christmas morning...)

Kaitlyn playing with the princess dress-up clothes she got from Grandma Annie

Later that afternoon at Brads Parents house...

Brad got a Guitar Hero World Tour (the one like Rockband) from his Mom

And he got an Ice Cream Machine...

Mack's new camping chair and orange tic-tacs...

The next day at the Mackay Family Christmas Party...

Mack, CJ, and Kaitlyn opening their present from Grandma and Grandpa Mackay
Mack, Reggie, and Kaitlyn were found hiding in the church kitchen. Reggie made a run for it before I could snap a picture.

And all tuckered out from too much fun...
Listening to the ipod shuffle Brads mom got him for Christmas...

Presents not seen in the pictures:

Mack: Racetracks, a remote control car, new church shoes, a marshmellow gun, lots of candy, and legos.

Me: Stainless Steel pots and pans from my MOM, clothes from Brad, my fav protein shakes and gun from Brad, a sewing machine and table from Brad's mom, and a box of 10 different puzzles from myself.

Brad: XBox 360 Elite from Wife, and an Monopoly MLB Edition game from his mom.

Overall, it was a GREAT Christmas!!!

Makes me so proud...

This happens to everyone at some point...Some more than others. But within the first week of potty training, we already have one. I had to take a picture...someday I will show this to Mack's girlfriends and tell them about his very first PLUMBERS CRACK!

Potty Training!

Last Monday, Mack and I began the big scary journey together of POTTY TRAINING! I had no idea what I was doing, but it seems to be working! With actually very few accidents, we are now beginning to venture out of the house more and more these days! Here are a few pictures of my Big Boy in his Big Boy Underwear! Note: There were all taken on different days, which explains the different underwear...thankfully, he did not have that many accidents in one day. I would also like to note that I do clothe my child in more than just underwear and under-t's...

This is his potty chart after the first day...

You can do everything in big boy underwear! you can roll around on the floor...

You can be dirty (notice face and shirt...)
You can eat breakfast...
And you can play with Toys!!
When a 2 year old gets quiet, a mom's first mode goes to panic thinking, "Oh crap, what wall now has permanent marker on it?" or worse, "What am I going to find in the toilet bowl THIS time?" This is what I found Mack doing...

I found him working hard on something in the back bedrooms closet...

He noticed me and looked up...and as I got closer...

He smiled an "I'm innocent" smile, which rarely means that he is. But in this case, THANKFULLY, he was just finding somewhere dark to play with his flashlight.

On a not so lucky note for my vacuum, he was also found later that same day taking screws out of my vacuum with a screwdriver. Good thing I got a new vacuum for Christmas!

Best Ways to Watch A Movie At Home...

Here are the best ways to watch a movie...

#1-With a strainer on your head...

#2-Spread Eagle on a rocking chair...

#3-In a Mack-Size rocking chair...

#4-Probably the most effective way, right next to the TV! Because with a 50" TV, if you're not right next to it, you just can't see a thing!

Fun in the snow

We got all bundled up this afternoon to go for a walk and play in the snow...

When we got back inside, he tore off his clothes and got under the blanket to watch a movie.

So yesterday we moved into our tiny little basement apartment in Tooele. We needed to be closer to Brad's work while we are still waiting to close on our new home. We left most of the stuff in our storage unit, and brought only kitchen stuff (although not plates and cups because we are going plastic, and we didnt bring pots and pans because we couldn't find them so Kay let me borrow a few). We also took macks mattress, and rocking chair, our laptop, vacuum, and portable DVD player. While I do not think our new place is cute, it will definitely do being closer to Brad's work for a month or so til we move into our beautiful new home! here are a few pics:

Our kitchen (No kitchen table)

Our Beds: we are sleeping on foam camping pads and mack has his little mattress
Our family room: the only piece of furniture we brought was this rocking chair. Hopefully this week we will also bring the luv sac.
the second bedroom that we are using as our "dressing room". the clothes are organized into different boxes...

So can you say "basic" living?!

We have been talking Santa up for WEEKS now to Mack! Last year he wanted NOTHING to do with the Jolly Old Man.

Let's flashback to last year:

Not so good...so after talking him up a bit, we decided to try him out at the mall. And here are the results:
Ok so he actually sat on his lap, he didn't cry, but he refused to say a WORD until the very end when Santa gave him some candy. Then he said thank you and walked away. All I can say is...Baby Steps...

Belated Birthday Wishes

I know I may seem like a horrible wife for taking this long to do this, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADLEY! He just turned the big 25 the day before Thanksgiving! And this is how we spent it...

  1. Drove to St. George to drop Mack off at his Grandmas house
  2. Drove to Vegas
  3. Went to Cheesecake Factory for Dinner
  4. Saw PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (seats were 7 rows from the stage, center)
  5. Slept in
  6. Drove back to St George the next morning for Thanksgiving Dinner
  7. Drove home the next day
  8. Went to PF Changs for dinner with my parents for Brad's Bday
It was awesome!!! Now with Thanksgiving out of the way, we can all fully enjoy the Christmas season!!!

Here are some great pics:
Brad's Signature "smile" in pictures while at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner

I did this pose so I wouldn't have a hideous double chin because of the upward angle of the camera...and I like to kiss my husband :)

This photo is a rare specimen...he is actually smiling! and he looks HOT! Probably because he is about to eat his favorite Costco chocolate cake...

After taking a bite of the cake face-first!
