As some of you know, Franklin has grown. A lot. He is not even 6 months old. And I'm guessing he weighs about 85 lbs now. So he needs his food to be higher off the ground. All of the raised feeders that i've seen online that go as high as he needs them are like $175. So i bought these 2 stools at DI for $5 each and painted them, brad cut holes in the top, and i laid the bowls in them.
But don't let that face fool you. At about the stroke of 6 PM she turns into a fighter and a yeller. basically she acts like a dozen teenager girls all PMSing at the same time. Can't wait til she's a teen.
Today mack had his first appointment at Primary Childrens to see if we can figure out why he has back pain. After being there for like 45 minutes, and talking to a couple of different people, they decided that they needed to take full back X-rays. After waiting another hour in a tiny little room with 2 bored kids, the dr finally came in and told me the findings.
She found a pretty substantial curve in his spine. She doesn't know exactly what is causing it, so she had me schedule a full spinal MRI for him so we can find some answers. Unfortunately, the soonest they could fit me in was December 16th. So now we wait over a month, again, to see if we can get some answers.
Until then, here is a video of the kids playing under the exam table. There was not one toy in the exam room. Not one children's book. So they got pretty bored...
What's this you might ask? It's a bobbin. Why is it significant? Let me tell you. i don't really know of to sew. I've always been terrified of threading a sewing machine. So i've always made my mom or kay do it for me. A few years ago, i got a sewing machine for christmas. I just got around to setting it up last night. I read every step of the instruction manual. And i was so proud that i wound my bobbin all by myself, that when brad got home I ran out to meet him waving it around in my hand. he thought i was crazy. Maybe i was...crazy good!!! Now that I have it set up, maybe I'll use it someday.
Ok I took a little blogging break. I didn't really think that I had anything to blog about. Then i was going through my phone tonight and found quite a few pics and a couple videos. So here we go!
Halloween was so much fun this year. I loved getting my kids all dressed up and taking them around.
I carved all 7 pumpkins. brad hates carving pumpkins, but I sure do like doing them.
Mack was a fireman. It took a lot of convincing for me to put "soot" on his face. He doesn't like to get dirty.
Miss Macy Lou was a lady bug. She wouldn't sit still for a picture.
Brad was...well who knows. He shaved a hideous handlebar mustache. He still has it. he won't get rid of it. And I was a "witch" (I just had the hat on.) Franklin was super dog. He wore one of mack's capes. We took him trick or treating with us.
