St. George Girls/Bday Trip

This past weekend, my mom, sisters, and I went down to St. George for a little girls/birthday trip.  We had a blast!  We did lots of shopping, went on a "nature walk" to the sand dunes, went to the farmers market, ate lots of yummy food, and played some really fun games.  Here are a few highlights:

P90X Yoga

Baby Cohen at the Sand Dunes

We were trying to do these cool jumping pictures...Erica and Nikki had to pretend because they had the babies...

Me, mom and Courtney did it too...I surprisingly got both feet off the ground, although I only went about a foot and a half past where I jumped.  Everyone else went like 5 or 6 feet.

This is how the picture was supposed to look...good job Linds.

Linds and Courtney decided to race down the hill in the sand...

I'm pretty sure Linds one running back up the hill...

Then mom and I raced down the hill...

And back up...

And I almost died halfway back up the sand dune.

We had a BLAST!  Thanks mom and sisters for such a great birthday!

Happy Mother's Day!!  Just wanted to take a moment to let my mom know how much she means to me.  She's been an AMAZING example of how a wife, mother, and woman should be over the years.  She's my #1 lifeline and I don't think I could survive without her.  I can only hope to be half as great of a mother as she is.  Not to mention the fact that she is tall, skinny, and agelessly beautiful! Thanks mom for being my best friend!

And to my Mother-in-Law who is always willing to do anything that we need her to do and more.  For being a loving grandmother to her only grandson and a selfless example for her daughters to follow.
And to all of my friends that are amazing moms as well, and to all those mom's I've adopted over the course of my life, thank you for being great influences in my life!  I sure do have a lot to live up to!

Cruise Recap

Hey all!  We just got back from an amazingly relaxing cruise a few days ago, so it's time to post some pics. Unfortunately, we lost the pics from our first 2 days on the ship because our camera decided to be stupid.  Here we go:

St. Thomas:

We took a quick tour of the island then went to Magen's Bay for a while.
Magen's Bay, St. Thomas is one of the Top Ten beaches in the world according to National Geographic...it was amazingly beautiful!
Our ship is he bigger one on the right

St. Maarten:

We rented a car and took ourselves on a tour of both the Dutch and French side of the island.  While on the French side, we went to Oriental Beach which is nude on one side, and normal on the other.  Some people didn't obey the borders very well because I definitely saw some things that made me blush!  Then on the way back, we got stuck behind a parade that was going on so we stopped to ask someone how we could get back to our ship..his response was, "You have a serious problem.  You should just park your car and walk back."  We asked how long it would take us to go around and he said, "oh about 10 minutes".  We couldn't have talked to a more DRAMATIC person!!  I had an anxiety attack...but not to worry.  We made it back to the ship on time.

Misc. cruise pics:

Brad riding the Flowrider on the ship
The second "Formal" night on the ship...but we weren't so formal
I won $200 in the casino in about 5 hands of playing 3 Card Poker...
So I cashed it in so I wouldn't lose it!

We ate lots of food, saw some pretty good shows, and most importantly, we got to RELAX!  We were supposed to make a stop in the Bahamas the first day, but the weather was bad so we just stayed at sea.  But not to worry, there was PLENTY to keep us busy on the ship!  It's definitely great to be home though!
