It's Finished!

Hey All!! Been a while...I have a few things to blog about but I'll get to them later. I just wanted to brag about the rock wall that Brad built in front of our house!!! It looks absolutely amazing! So the before picture isnt exactly good, but it's from just like 3 weeks after we got it, so we hadn't started any changes yet.

This week I am getting my plants planted in it so it will look even better!!! Brad did such a great job!!!!

The Joy of Spring

So here are some fun pictures of Mack that I have taken the last few days...I'm trying to be better about updating my blog. Mack had outgrown all of his cloths (literally ALL of them), so we got to go get him a whole new wardrobe. Here's what me and Mack have been up to lately:

Mack playing in the snow...he had a lot of fun chasing a bird and yelling "tweet tweet" while doing it back and forth across our yard.

Here are some of his cute new clothes that he got. I love that his pants are no longer high waders and his shirt goes all the way over his belly, and there is still room in it.

We had fun this morning jumping on the trampoline. I was teaching him how to do 360's...

He didn't quite get it...I but he still had a lot of fun. Plus...maybe you didn't notice, but it's SUNNY!

And his pants are a little baggy becuase they are 2T and for some reason these pants tend to sag. But look at the cute smile.

Mack had a lot of fun this weekend in St George without me, and I had a great time doing a lot of homework since it's almost the end of the semester. Oh...and me and Brad went on a date by ourselves to go see Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3D. It was pretty much AWESOME!

Oh...and I have like 23 days until I leave for Hawaii!!! So ready for a vacation!

Birthday Shoutouts!

I'd just like to wish a Happy Birthday to my Father-In-Law SCOTT today! Even though he is always spoiling Mack against my wishes, he really is a great grandpa. Never seen a grandpa melt so much as I've seen with Mack! Happy Birthday Scott!

Yay For New Dishwashers!

Hey all! So anyone want to see part one of the many home improvements that we are doing this year?! I know it may not be significant to anyone but myself, and my family is probably sick of hearing me talk about it, but I have been washing dishes by hand for the last 2 1/2 years. So without further adieu, I'd like to show off my new........drum roll please......my new dishwasher!!! We had an old on in our house, that didn't work, and it was a stand alone all the way across the kitchen. Not exactly practical!! So I got the idea that we should take out a few of our cabinets next to our sink and put one in!

So I don't have a before picture, because I forgot to take one before brad started tearing out kitchen cabinets. But here are the afters!


Yay for new dishwashers! Coming up next...we're tearing out these big huge ugly bushes in front of our house and building some rock walls for raised flower beds. Very excited!!!

Hey all!! Just an update on my weight loss this week...I lose another 2 pounds! This means I have 7 more weeks to lose at least 13 more pounds! My goal for this week is 4 pounds! Think I can do it? My butt is still sore from the spinning class I did on Monday night... Piece of cake!! Just thought I'd take a second to brag a little :) Love you all!!!

March Madness

Hey All! Can I just tell you how excited I am for the weekend?! I've got a busy month ahead of me, but I'm so excited for it! First thing first...I'm back on my awesome diet. I just finished my first week on it, and I lost 4.6 pounds!!! I have 7 1/2 weeks now until hawaii and I'm totally going to lose 20 pounds by then!!! Here is what's going on around the Brown home in March (besides getting skinny!)

1. I just bought my brand new dishwasher today...we are taking out a part of our cabinets and putting it right next to our sink where dishwashers are supposed to go. Right now he have an old one across the kitchen that's a stand alone one (plus it doesnt work, so I've been washing dishes by hand for our 2 1/2 years of marriage.)
2. We are ripping out the carpet in our kitchen/dining room and putting in our gorgeous hard flooring.
3. I'm going to finish Mack's bedspread and get him into his big boy bed.
4. Probably watch Nemo about 1000 times...(we're on our second time today...in a row)
5. And hopefully we'll get out in our yard and do our spring cleaning outside!!

I don't know which one I'm the most excited for, but it's going to be so fun to start doing stuff on the inside and more on the outside! I love you all!
